JOOLA Pickleball Schläger Ben Johns Perseus CFS 16 Reviews

I have a legacy pro and my doubles partner has the vatic.1. The Joola Persesud lacks the pop of either paddle mentioned above.2. It does have a better touch and feel (control) than the Vatic and Legacy3. It has noticeably less spin than the Legacy but is comparable to the VaticIt’s a great pedal if you are a Hyperion user … everyone else can find similar performance at the 150.00 price point.I have a tendency to avoid average reviews and typically review items that are exceptional or clearly misleading. This is neither. It’s a good paddle that is well built … and 100.00 more than comparable paddles from rival companies

Even though the weight of the paddle is the same as the Hyperion the balance of the paddle is very different. It feels very head heavy to me which is a big change. Ive had numerous people try to hit with it and just seems very difficult to get used to. The grip is also much smaller than the Hyperion. Lots of complaints on this. I fixed by using 2 overgrips at the recommendation of another review I found online.Overall the paddle for sure hits harder however seems to lack the control of the Hyperion. The swing weight is also according to specs supposed to be less but due to the difference in weight distribution I dont know how this is possible. Even if you youtube Ben Johns Perseus set up you can see how much weight he personally ads to the throat of the paddle vs when he had the Hyperion he would put weights on the side and the top. Unfort for me this product does not work and going to return it.Update: Got a Colin Johns Scorpeus and what a night and day difference. Way better balance. Way bigger sweet spot. Much lighter. Much faster. The Scorpeus is 100% a better choice. Just watch all reviews on YouTube and everything they say about not liking the Perseus and loving the Scorpeus is correct.

I LOVE THIS PADDLE. I had been using the Hyperion for the last 6 months and fell in love with the paddle. The paddle had great control, power, and spin. The only thing I felt it lacked was a larger sweet spot. Although, this did not stop me from playing with it as I loved it. I had ordered my paddle recently and got it within two days. Hours after receiving it I went to play some competitive play with a group. It has a very similar feel to the Hyperion and is very easy to transition to. I fell in love with this paddle even more and I feel it is the perfected Hyperion. This paddle is much more forgiving as it has a very large sweet spot. I had hit it on all different parts of the paddle and the ball seemed to fly off. It was amazing! The control, power, and spin is unmatched compared to other paddles on the market. Overall this is a great paddle if you are looking to up your game and have more consistent dinking, drops, and drives. 100/10
