I tried this and the paddle is gold as far as the sweet spot and return. Its heavier than some Ive used but nothing thats insurrmountable. I wasnt crazy about the grip and can't really out my finger in why. It doesnt feel great in my hand. My husband used it and didnt have the same feeling. All in all its a stellar paddle that performs.

This paddle felt ok. I did notice that my swing wasn’t as quick as when I used my old paddle. The grip is good and it feels really sturdy in the hand. The surface provides a good amount of spin. I would recommend it.

The grip is a little big for women. Paddle has good punch, great for net play.

I read one review where someone compared this to their 20 dollar paddles for their 'casual' play. Well, just like putting a $300 tennis racket in the hands of a beginner, or a set of forged blades with a new golfer, they can't appreciate the difference. This paddle is NICE. The grip is a noticeable upgrade from a midrange paddle. A bit bigger in the hand with better material. The blade is a bit thicker than my other paddles, but the big difference is the texture. Similar to a good table tennis paddle, this texture grips the ball a lot more and imparts a bit more spin than my cheaper paddles. It's very stable, and feels good even on off-center hits. It just has nice pop to it.Now I'm still dropping a star off because I still don't think the cost is justified here for what pickleball bats are. There's great paddles for half the price that are a much better value IMO.

My family is new to pickleball and we love it! I give all the credit to the fact we started with great paddles! The “Solaire” is one of our favorites! It’s lightweight, the grips are great, the control and accuracy are everything we expected. Very happy with this paddle!

I got this for my wife, who is an avid, intermediate pickleball player. She reports that the carbon friction surface is amazing. It holds the ball extremely well, allowing precise control and spin. It practically grips the ball with its slightly curved surface. The grip is comfortable, even on a hot day. The hyperfoam edge reduces vibration. Really good sweet spot. The racket is shorter than others, but the sweet spot felt huge.

I gave this 4 stars because the paddle is well made and feels comfortable in the hand, and it does return the ball when struck. It also looks cool. But for the life of me I can't wrap my head around a pickle ball paddle that costs almost $200. I have one from Walmart that I paid 20 bucks for a set of 2 and they came in a nice zippered bag. They work just as well in my opinion with my casual pickle ball play. I know you can but a Honda or a Ferrari and they both get you from point a to point b and greatly different prices. True, it's the same with most everything. So, if you have money to burn, or are a pickle ball pro, or snob for that matter, this may be the paddle for you. Just don't show up with a $200 paddle and suck at playing.
