“I liked it, handle broke 6 months and it’s starting to fall apart, the grit and rubber around the paddle, disappointing since I liked this paddle a have recommended it to many, I didn’t realize it wasn’t durable, I took care of it also UPDATE: Company stood behind their product, Says a lot about the company I’ll recommend, this paddle”
“So I have only been playing about a year of pickleball. I have been using some paddles my wife had bought and they were cheap, but worked. I have a tendency to always spin the ball when I play. I wanted to spin it more, but with the cheap paddles, I was working them to their max. I bought my wife a better paddle as we were to be in a tournament. I played with her paddle and it is nice, I like the differences, so I started looking for a paddle for me, I came across the reviews on this one. It is pricey, but worth it. The reaction of the ball to the paddle is amazing. It is grips, and has a bigger sweet spot like I would have on a tennis racket. I was very impressed. I even had some of my spins back up the ball on a dink, which I was never able to do with the cheap paddles. Well worth the money, it is quality, it is so much better than I thought it might be. Great product. My wife hates my serves, spins and returns now hahahahahaha”
“Received this paddle 10 weeks ago. I loved everything about it, until the handle came loose from the main paddle. This occurred on a normal forehand, not from any abuse that should break it. When attempting to go to Joola's USA support website, the site is down "DNS resolution error 1001". I will update the review if I can actually get support from Joola, as this is a 5-star paddle prior to the reliability issue.** UPDATE **The website came back online after 12 hours. I filed a claim. The next day, they reached out to me to offer a replacement paddle. Wonderful customer service. I changed the rating to 5-star.”
“Newbie to pickleball but I have this Joola Solaire and the Hyperion paddles. I've used both and the quality seems very good and other seasoned players always seem pretty impressed (probably more surprised that a newbie has a good paddle!) with this Joola Solaire paddle.I have noticed that I seem to have more control when hitting the ball with the Hyperion. However I noticed that the Solaire paddle can put out a really good spin on the ball! Not sure on the longevity/quality of the paddle, so I will update my review if there are any changes.”
“I had a new Paddletek Wave Pro that I was using but I lost it (and it was returned to be four days later). Meantime I bought this Joola and boy I'm glad I did. It's so much better. Solid paddle. I'm a relative beginner but/and this paddle makes a big difference. I thought it was near perfect but added an overgrip and some weights - it's even better. Sometimes you get what you pay for. The Wave Pro was the same price as this one and it's barely better than the $20 paddle I started with. This Joola for me is the real deal. I'm still getting better and some of the credit goes to having a decent paddle now.”
“This paddle has great control, and a nice snap when you hit the sweet spot. My previous paddles have had a dead spot near the very top of the paddle. This one does not.The most expensive paddle I have ever bought, but well worth it.”
“This paddle was an awesome upgrade from the cheap paddles that came with the starter kit (4 paddles and 4 balls) I got on Amazon. This paddle greatly improved my control and power. All of the people I play with tried it and were considering buying one. Until! I had the paddle for 31 days (Amazon return is 30 days) and while playing the paddle developed a crack. Joola has agreed to replace the paddle (6 month warranty) at my expense for shipping . I play 3-4 times per week for around 2 hours per day. I hope the replacement paddle lasts longer.”
