“I first purchased this paddle from Amazon 6 months ago (Dec 2023) and loved it! Unfortunately it was stolen so I went to my order history and clicked “buy again” to make sure I got exactly the same pasdle. I’m really disappointed. This one doesn’t have the pop my original paddle had (even after 6 months of use), there are spots that feel dead and may be my imagination but seems to be weighted differently (a bit heavier) at the top. I’m going to return it.Based on the new paddle’s performance I’m not buying it again. My husband purchased a Joola Perseus 3 two months ago and after trying his I decided to get one. Then learned joola has recalled all their gen 3 paddles because they’ve been banned by the governing US Pickleball association. I was a huge advocate for Joola paddles but given my experiemce and all that’s going on there I’m concerned their quality control may have (temporarily?) slipped.”
