“The Hyperion has always been the standard of excellence for me. Its size, weight, and shape just fits my game perfectly so when this C2 version came out I knew I had to get it. It doesn’t disappoint. Everything that I loved about the Hyperion has been upgraded with the theraformed edges and new carbon facing. That facing puts spin on the ball like no one’s business. I’ve heard some bad reviews about this new facing, that the grit wears down after a couple weeks after extensive use, and I’m going to put that to the test. It’s still got that Hyperion feel which I love. I’ve tried the Perseus and was not a fan so having the Hyperion upgraded was awesome. Love this paddle. Absolutely love it.”
“When I opened the package, my eyes popped open like a little boy on Christmas! I could immediately see that there was something different about this paddle. The feel is awesome, slightly longer handle than my other paddles. It's well balanced in the hand and feels great when swinging. The texture is even on both sides and feels almost like a 300-400 grit sandpaper. It's clear that this is a high-end paddle. The only thing I would change is something that I prefer on the SLK Invikta paddle, which is a borderless paddle. Once you get pretty good, you don't hit the edges of the paddle, but a raised edge on any paddle has the potential to get in the way. The border prevents scrapes and scuffs to the paddle edges, to there are trade-offs I suppose. It's a phenomenal paddle, awesome sweet spot. This one's going places...”
“This is, in my opinion, the best paddle ever made. I'm not kidding. I've got at least 15 high end paddles. This is easily the best one. It's light, fast, powerful, balanced, comfortable. It's the best on the market, hands down.”
“Had the Hyperion and went to the Perseus. I'm 57 with YEARS of tennis under my belt. Ive used this paddle for maybe 25-30 games and the edging broke loose. Would have thought this was tougher.”
“I’m a 3.5 female player and I tried the 14mm Scorpeus (Anna Bright’s paddle) and this 14mm Perseus. I thought the Scorpeus would be the winner based on some of the reviews, but not for me! The 14mm Perseus was the winner the moment I hit my first shot. It’s lightweight, has a longer paddle face which helps me a lot because I’m short, the grip is thin, and it’s way more powerful than the other paddles I’ve tried. The control is excellent as well. I love it! People have come up to me recently to tell me how much better I’ve gotten, but I think the paddle has played a big part!”
