“Great Table! Now, since I am not a table tennis pro or have other tables to compare this to, I can't vouch for the playability of this table much. However, as a cheaper table compared to others I don't think many pros are going to be looking at this anyway, so I'll talk about things a more average person might find important.Assembly: I'd give this a 3/5 on its own. The instructions were not very complex, and did not consider many basic questions that someone without building experience would ask. However do note that the assembly is quite simple so this is not really a problem. As long as you have 2 wrenches, which were not supplied.Storage: I mean, the tables go vertically and you can put them against each other. There isn't a designated spot for the net (which I prefer to put away so the band doesnt get stretched) or rackets, but I don't think it will be much of an issue for most.Table Mobility: Solid. All you have to do is lift the back and move it however you like. No disappointments there. How the Table Plays: Again, as a completely inexperienced user I can't say much. However I have no complaint so I guess that's something. I have had friends come over who play ping pong a little more and told me its a great table, so I guess it's pretty goodSide note: I have already found quite a few minor scuff marks in the week I've used it, but as an inside table and my slightly barbaric play style I don't think this is a huge issue. So all in all, am I satisfied? Yes. It's a fine table, and even though I have nothing to compare it to, judging by the price of other tables I think that this is a great choice for a new table. After 4 months:Definitely not as happy as before. The table scuffs quite easily and it already looks like a battlefield in the four months that I've used it. There is even a small chip on the side from where I assume I hit my racket- somehow hard enough to do that. Another thing that has angered me a bit is that the company offers free balls if you leave a review. Not only does it take "4-6 weeks to process" But I've been waiting for at least 3 months now and I still havent gotten the balls or a word about them. Really not happy about their customer service.”
“First off, this is my 3rd table that I have purchased for our center. I liked the tables so much that I purchased a third one of the same kind. I would have given this a 5-star rating, but for a couple of things.Pros: Well built construction, bound of the table is excellent, assembly is a piece of cake, stores well folded and moves quite well. The table is 2 piece and can be stored separately or put close together. The net is average and holds its tension, the past two tables have held their tension for over a year.Cons: On initial setup, the tables is not level, despite the floor being absolutely level and the adjusting screws on the bottom are fully in. This particular table had to be adjusted quite a bit to level it, and when it is level, one of the wheels was not touching the ground; not a deal breaker, but noteworthy for players who slam and accidentally put their hand or body on the table afterward. The second problem was caused by the first problem, one of the wheel holders broke because of this and now the board doesn't play as well.My final thoughts: Good table for the price you pay, make sure all wheels are supported by something underneath them if they are not level. The table does play very well.”
“So I was in the market for a ping pong table, as my son had been asking for one for months. I looked at the used market (since there were always tons for sale in my city), but I couldn't find anything that seemed worth the price and was not old and damaged; that and I would have had to rent a truck to get it home. So i bit the bullet and decided to buy this one online, and let me tell you I couldn't be more pleased.Given it was the lowest priced table JOOLA offered, I was assuming I was going to get something good, but still relatively cheap. The pictures made it look great, but we all know how pictures can deceive. Well let me tell you, I was wrong. This table is quite high quality and it is solid. I am sure the weight is somewhere online in the specs, but this thing is heavy. It took me maybe 15 minutes to setup (probably less) and then my son and I were playing a game. Now I must admit, I am no ping pong expert. I have never owned a table, but I used to play at friends houses. Either this is a really good table, or things have changed. This table has solid legs, huge wheels so you can wheel it around, and most importantly, the surface is perfect. A friend who came over who is experienced in ping pong told me the table had "a really great bounce".Bottom line, this table is solidly made and we couldn't be happier. I've had it now for about 2 months, and my son loves it. I can easily put one side up (it is two separate pieces) so he can practice alone, and it stores really well (not that we have used that feature much yet). If I had to do it over again, I would not hesitate to buy this table again. My "experienced" friend at ping pong was shocked that this was the entry level table and how little it cost.Disclaimer: I did NOT receive a discount on this table nor am I affiliated with the company in any way. I see people write reviews and then mention they received a discount on the product for their review. This is not the case for me. I just think this product was worth the price, and wanted those who were considering buying it to hear of my positive experience.”
“I first purchased a 'competing' (I looked at both online and read reviews but never had a chance to look at either one in person) table from a major retailer, because it was priced a few $ less. The table arrived and it was broken (the packaging was very poor), while I was hoping to 'exchange' the defective item, I ended up having to return the item... a blessing in disguise as after all the hassle I had with the other retailer, I wasn't going to buy from them anymore. Ordered Joola on Amazon, table was delivered within a week! First impression, the packaging is SO much better, i.e. while the other one had styrofoam corners, this unit has rubber molded pieces to make sure the table does not get damaged, the cardboard is reinforced, needless to say, the table arrived in perfect shape. Putting it together is simple enough (this is the one item where the competing table was better, [yes, I did assemble the previous one]), it takes about 10 minutes to put the legs in place, everything else is pre-assembled. You need two people to do this, you can't flip the table by yourself. The quality of the table is much better than the other one: the leg mechanism works smoother and is sturdier, the lock is stronger and closes automatically, and the playing surface is smooth. The unit also has the instructions on a sticker on the underside of the table (handy if you loose your instructions). As simple as it is, there is a complete instruction manual as well. We have been playing on this table for a full week and are really enjoying the purchase. This unit was more expensive than the competing one, but with amazon's free shipping vs. the other retailer's shipping charge, ended up paying the same. I would definitely recommend this table.”
“I was happy enough to get the 15mm table for under 300$ at Amazon. It comes in a very big, sturdy and heavy box about 5x5 feet square. (actually there is protective plywood glued to the inside of the box). It is shipped by a special company, which makes 3 hour timeframe appointments. My first delivery never showed up, but the status showed "delivered". Thanks to the very helpful and friendly Amazon callback service (!) the issue could be resolved quickly. The next shipment didn't show up on the announced date, either. But I received a call from the shipper the next day and the table was finally delivered (-1 star)The table comes in two nearly completely assembled halves. Just add the whees with 4 screws (tools needed). I'd say the assembly service for over 100$ is well overpriced and not needed, if you have a helping hand. The edges of the components on my unit had some sharp pieces, but the final assembly is ok. The corners of the table even have a small rubber bumper for protection. After assembly, the table stands in two halves, which are flush right away! The net holders are wide rubberised clamps, that hold the two sides together as well. The net can be hight-adjusted by to screws and the tension is controlled by a pice of chain. All easy, fast and nice. The table is well balanced and folds upright easily, When upright, roll both parts away on its wheels! It is stored upright on very limited space, if you slide both part within each orther (1,5x5 feet i'd guess)Just add paddles and balls and turn the basement into a family entertainment center. I would happily buy it again!”
“This is an excellent table. I spent a lot of time researching prior to purchase and this one came up with the best customer reviews. I can see why. When it arrives it is astonishingly well packaged - heavy duty rubber corner protectors and a cardboard box lined with chipboard. Only downside is the 200b weight of the package, but it gets easy to manoeuvre once unpackaged. The table itself is well-constructed, all the parts feel heavy duty. The assembly takes 15-20 minutes, max. Easy to fold up with a solid catch to stop it dropping down again. The net is a really nice unit, which clips onto the table, no clamps to tighten with a risk of table damage. Net has a dinky little system to maintain tension. Highly recommend for indoor fun.UPDATE: Joola offer free balls if you buy the table. Although they acknowledge receiving your application, they never actually send you any balls and they also ignore any customer service requests you send them asking where they are. I know ping pong balls are worth very little, but it says a lot about a company that they make an offer, don't honour it, and refuse to engage with customers afterwards who have the temerity to follow-up. For this reason alone I would never buy anything else from Joola. Plenty of other comments on here making the same observation about the offer. Dishonest and disrespectful company.”
“I haven't play ping pong in decades. The reason that I made the leap into purchasing a ping pong table was to get some exercise and fight boredom during the winter. Also nice to have for guests. It was also a good way to get the kids off the computer games and cell phones. They are getting some exercise and interacting more with the rest of the family.I researched several tables and styles before purchasing the Joola Inside 15 tennis table. My choice was based on popularity and positive reviews, mobility, quality of table top/playability, and storability. For me, the bonus was the ability to play as single player. The packaging for this table was excellent. The plastic carrying straps made it easier to carry downstairs even with three turns in the staircase. I believe the weight is a little more than advertised? I have the 15 mm top and in the package, it weighed around 190 lbs. So with gloves on to hold the straps, my son and I carried it from the front door and down into the basement. The setup was very simple and quick. The one drawback is the wheel caster brakes are very stiff. I haven't contacted customer service to see if there was a way to free them up a bit.Setting up the table was simple. I think the difficult thing to remember is how to unhinge the legs. Simple once you figure it out.We are looking forward to many years of fun with this ping pong table. And yes, I would recommend this ping pong table.”
“So, few companies value providing stellar customer service - Nordstrom type service. After the experience I had, I can now say Joola absolutely is in the same league as Nordstroms. They went WAY above and beyond what they needed to do to help me with my problem. I rarely do these product reviews, but my experience was very unique. Here's what happened.I purchased the table on-line with Amazon prime. I chose this model for two primary reasons. 1 - the reviews were good. 2 - the product was to arrive "largely assembled", with only minor work needed by me to finish assembling. My expectations were absolutely exceeded on the product. First, I was given the choice of when to accept delivery. The box is big and pretty heavy. I wanted to be home for the delivery. I was able to choose the delivery date and the driver called me well in advance that morning of delivery day to confirm the actual time. Super friendly delivery guy! Then came the assembly. The packaging was amazing - not a scratch on the table. And yes, it was just as advertised. All I had to do was a few screws, pop in the legs, attach the net, etc. It was not an IKEA assembly and for that I was very grateful. My son and I were playing ping-ping within an hour.2 days later, we were getting ready to go to the airport for thanksgiving trip. I decided to pull my truck into the garage so that it wouldn't be outside while we were gone. I folded up my new ping-pong table and rolled it to the side of the garage bay. As I pulled my car into the garage, I saw I had plenty of clearance, on the table, but I missed the fact that one of the wheels on the ping pong table was a bit closer to my truck. And yes, I ran over the ping pong table wheel and snapped it right off. Unbelievably stupid on my part. And yes, the family was none too happy. It was a quiet plane ride for thanksgiving. After the thanksgiving holiday, I reached out to Joola via their customer support line. At the same time, I found on their website a place to order replacement parts. I filled out the form, but before submitting, I called JOOLA - and I got a live person. I embarrassingly explained my situation. She asked me if I had submitted the online form yet. I replied that I hadn't but that I had it filled out the form and was ready to submit. She waited on the phone while I submitted the case. She immediately saw that the case was submitted and "picked it up" off the queue. While I waited, she authorized a replacement wheel kit be sent to me. And - she would not let me pay for it. Later, that day, I got a copy of the case I opened and the code said something like replace wheel due to product quality issue. I called JOOLA back again and made sure that they knew again that there was no product quality issue - just a product owner issue. Again, I said, that I needed to pay for the replacement wheel. And they still wouldn't let me pay for it.When I got home from Thanksgiving, the wheel replacement was on my doorstep. I popped out the broken assembly and put in the new one.Ping pong table is back in business.Thank you JOOLA. Yes, the family will forever tease me about running over my new 2-day old ping-ping table with my truck But this company provided an AMAZING customer service experience. And the table is fantastic - we love playing it in our garage. Don't know how often I'll be in the market for another ping-pong table, but if I ever am, I will only buy from these guys.”
