“We just open the box and set it up. The smell of the table is very strong…probably from the “engineered wood”. I hope it’s not dangerous/toxic to inhale while playing with the odor. I don’t think it will go away for at least a few weeks.Update: the fume from the table did go away after 3 weeks or so. It’s good to enjoy it without the smell. I upgrade to to 3 stars now as it’s a decent table to get some exercise and fun.”
“I looked around quite a bit for a nice ping-pong table. This one had great reviews and one of the things that I liked the most were the reviews about quality as this is a very high-quality ping-pong table. Especially for the cost. It’s on the bigger side but it’s regulation ping-pong dimensions. I started looking at less expensive tables, but when you read the fine print, they are very small and the reviews were not great from a quality standpoint. I figure spend a little bit more for the quality, then having something that will fall apart. Also, I didn’t know this, but the brand is synonymous with ping-pong, JOOLA. I also purchased ping-pong paddles and balls with the same brand, and same notes on the quality. One thing, however, that I will disagree with is assembly. Everything says 10 -15 minutes that is not the case as my wife and I took close to an hour. Also, there are no tools that come with, so have some wrenches around. It’s definitely a two person job. In addition, moving the ping-pong table to our basement was challenging as it weighs close to 200 pounds. We had to go very slow down some stairs. Overall assembly wasn’t difficult. Just not as simple as “hey it’s a 10 minute job”.Very satisfied with the table once it is set up. Hoping it brings lots of fun!”
“Two big size delivery men who to me looked like football players, carried it in...and they really struggled putting it in the foyer. The box was damaged in a few areas ,so we were worried it came in damaged. We unpacked it in the foyer and carried the pieces seperatley down to the basement. Luckily only one side of table had a slight dent, so no big deal. The manufactor really needs to send this table in two boxes, one to help the delivery men and 2 so it doesnt get damaged.. Its a very nice study table and the blue is as shown & is very pretty. Happy with purchase and would buy again.”
“This table is very heavy and clearly high quality. I’ve played a lot of ping pong in my life, and this is the sturdiest table I’ve played on not made of stone. It folds up easily for storage and unfolds quickly. The net is a high quality though it already has a slight bend over to one side after only a couple weeks of play. The one-player practice mode is easy to setup for my 7 and 8 year olds. Highly recommend this table for both the quality and value!”
“I had previously bought my nephew a ping pong table for Christmas. The assembly of that table took me over 4 hours by myself. So this time, when I decided to buy a ping pong table for myself, I looked for one with easy installation. This ping pong table fits the bill. While it was heavy and a challenge to move it upstairs to the game room, once it's there, the installation took 10-15 mins to set up. It's a good quality table, provides good bounce from the ping pong ball. It can be folded up and put away when not in use to save space. But please be aware that the ping pong table is two segments that comes together to form a table. Unlike the other table I bought for my nephew, which folds up but is connected as one piece. On the other hand, because it's two pieces, of I every wanted to move it downstairs, it'll be easier because I only have to carry half of the table at a time. We've been playing ping pong every chance we got, especially with the heat in the summer. This was a good purchase. And to have Amazon delivery it to my door is A++++”
“I purchased this ping pong table for my husbands birthday and I can not say enough great things about it! Heads up, the package itself is a two man job to carry! The installation took no time at all. It folds up nicely and barely takes up any room in our garage. When we are ready to play we easily roll it apart and pop it up. It's also a very professional board. My husband loves ping pong and has played for several years. He was extremely impressed with the quality.”
“Everything else is as described. It is and feels like HEAVY and you need at least 2 people to assemble it properly and gently so that you do not break or scratch anything. However, I don't agree with 10 min assembly time advertised- maybe someone whose livelihood is from assembling such tables can do, but for normal people like you and me, reserve about an hour (for 2 people). Also, I didn't find provided tool (wrench) enough, you will need another one with size 13 or 14 (I can't remember) to hold the other side while tightening.”
“Yeah these are heavy, but hey- all ping pong tables are huge so they will be weigh something. This one is built to last and is money well spent. The clamp on net system is efficient and sturdy, better than others. It's very sturdy of course, and not difficult to assemble especially if you have a helper. Just make sure you read the instructions completely while looking closely at the table parts before you go wild putting it together quickly to play.Others have said that it is heavy, so make sure to "have it delivered as close to where you intend to set it up. Well, I had to lug it up two flights of stairs before I assembled it. Those table tops are a severe test going up stairs but it wasn't the end of the world. Now that I've sold the house I have to bring it downstairs- that will be easier. But a ping pong table is a luxury that is worth having for sure! Who doesn't love playing this great "table tennis" game? My late dad and I would play at all hours and we loved it. But friends and family alike all love it and it offers many hours of great times.”
