We purchased the basement after some thorough research, though I was still hesitant to commit given that it's on the least-expensive end of the well-reviewed tables on Amazon. So, we rolled the dice and are very glad that we did!The table arrived by freight carrier (ABN, I believe?) who was very easy to work with. I called and requested to waive the signature and they got the word out so that delivery occurred without incident. The table arrived in good condition, though part of the frame was dented in two spots. The playing surface was in perfect condition and the frame itself was still straight and seemingly structurally unharmed.Carrying the table components (one at a time....no chance we'd be able to carry the whole box) was the most difficult part of set-up, but it's easily manageable with two people. I assembled the table by myself in about fifteen minutes with no issues. The instructions are very clear and there was no missing hardware. To my surprise, the table assembled into two separate halve (not one jointed piece). When used, the two halves meet seamlessly and the locking casters keep everything in place. I love the net assembly, as it's not the cheap set screw variation I've seen in the past. The net is secured to the table by a clamp on each end beneath the pole. It's very easy to adjust and remove, and the clamp is strong enough to correct any unevenness in the level of the two halves.Playing on this table is fantastic. I'm not an expert on table tennis, but for the recreational user this table offers great bounce and speed. Spin that's applied to the ball is translates nicely in the bounce. The rest is simply left to your abilities.Folding and storage takes all of 30 seconds to complete. The halves fold up with no resistance and lock in place once vertical. The casters are unlocked and the table is rolled away. Simple as that.In the end, this is a five-star product. I gave it four stars due to the denting of the frame during delivery. This didn't affect the table's performance in any way, but was a little disappointing...maybe to be expected of shipping such a heavy item. If you have the ability, maybe try to pick this up yourself at a store. If not, the shipping process is as easy ordering any random item on Amazon Prime, and you can't complain about the free S/H.

I have received this table for a few days now and have been enjoying it. Shipping was handled through a separate carrier named CEVA that delayed my delivery for 2 days, but I won't dock stars since it's a shipping issue not a product issue. The packaging was quite sturdy, I am assuming it has improved over time based on the other reviews I have read. Overall assembly was quite easy as well. My PRIMARY COMPLAINT product-level wise is that the package did not come with a screwdriver/tool that helps you tighten the hex nut (6-sided nut) that affixes the 4 mobile legs into the table. I didn't readily have the tools handy but still managed to get it tightened with a wrench and large plier. This table otherwise is quite sturdy, and it is highly recommended that you have two people lift the separate halves into place after assembling the movable parts. The net's design is pretty good with the gripping clamps. There are no clumsy dials/twisting clamps contrary to what some of the images on this product shows. Works like a large clothespin. I am guessing this is a design upgrade in the newer models as well.Right now I haven't need to move the table around much so I cannot attest to the mobility features and its ability to withstand folding, storage, and retrieval and unfolding long term. I am hoping this will last as the table itself has been looking good and working very well so far! Will provide another update in a few months to a year!

I was looking for a table for my kids with the following features:-within my budget-sturdy and of good quality-one that would fold upAfter having the Joola Inside Table for a month, I can say I'm very happy with it. Our whole family plays with it and I think it will hold up well. It arrive exactly on the day and time period I schedule it to be delivered (the day after Christmas no less!). It arrived packed well. I took the box apart outside and carried it in in two separate sections. The setup/installation was VERY simple and easy. From the time my 'helpers' opened the box until we were playing was about 50 minutes. I think had I done it myself without helpers I could have had it done in 25 minutes. There's really nothing to setting it up.I'm very happy with the construction, the legs, the caster/rollers. The rollers have 'stops' to keep it from moving. It's simple to level by raising/lowering the legs from the bottom. The net is well designed and constructed to last as long as it's not abused. I've played a few times with one side folded up. When you fold both sides up and move it around, it's pretty heavy and well built. Also, I think the play off the surface is good. It's think enough to play well. I'm not ping pong expert, so it was perfect for our family needs.Overall, I'm very happy we chose this model of JOOLA. I researched several top name brands and I would recommend it to others I know.

I was able to install this table by myself without any problems or assistance. Once all the parts were unpacked, it took me about fifteen minutes to complete installation. I had considered purchasing other brand tables but was drawn to the ease of installation of this Joola table. Being one person, I found it easier to mount the caster wheels by positioning the table upright on its side. Once mounted I simply lifted the table upright on its wheels and it was good to go. I give this table four stars only because it does not have a latch/lock mechanism between both sides of the table. I found it inconvenient having to slide the table together, release the wheel locks, slide some more, etc until both sides were flush, then finally locking the wheel so it doesn't move. My three kids (11, 9, & 6) were very pleased how quick it took for me put this table together and we played for about two hours until it was time for bed. There was one thing...one of the "Joola" face plate (welded to the legs) had a noticeable dent, nearly pushed back to the table when folded. I didn't realize it until I flipped it upright after install. I will need to speak with Joola about this and see what options I have. I imagine they will send the whole half table of that side, considering the amount of work to remove that part and re-install. I'll update my post later regarding Joola's response.

The reviews are overall accurate. For skilled players, keep in mind that the 5/8 inch table thickness does impact bounce and getting a 3/4 or 1 inch table is recommended. I am using it as an exercise machine along with a newgy 2050 robot, and for this purpose it's not a big deal. The table came well-packaged without the damage problems reported in other reviews. However, I had white glove delivery service (didn't know but seemed to come with amazon prime) which meant that the table was carried to my basement, unpacked, and checked for damage (amazon asked for that before signing off on the delivery). There was only one delivery man, so I had to help him since the package is heavy, even with two adults carrying it.The biggest positive is minimal assembly. You absolutely need two people to carry the packaged table but once unpacked, two people are not needed for assembly and set-up. Each table is an independent unit. After assembly of the wheel base with the table in upside-down position, just lift up one of the two sides and the stands are sturdy enough not to buckle when pushing up. With hardwood floors, put a blanket on the other side to prevent scratching. Assembly needs a 1/2 inch wrench and a plier. The bolts need more than the usual force to tighten (a good thing in this case), hence using a pair of pliers is not recommended. The table coating does scratch and ballmarks are visible after a couple of weeks of play. The table looked pristine when it arrived but looks used after a couple of weeks of robot play. With full-fledged match play, it's probably going to be even worse. Not a problem for me but perhaps for others.Aligning the two independent table halves is not as trivial as some reviews make it seem. My basement with hardwood flooring is level but the two table ends did not meet up flush. The stands have adjustable heights but that had limited effect because it's the middle stand with the wheels whose exact height was not matching up. Eventually, some cajoling (pushing down on the table) and attaching the net posts (quite sturdy as well) which puts equalizing pressure on the two halves did the trick.Overall, a good table for non-serious play (due to table thickness) and well-worth the price. All manufacturers including Butterfly may want to consider following Joola's pre-assembled table design. Having a few hundred parts to assembly a ping pong table seems inexcusable.

The table plays great. I'm very happy with it, and would highly recommend it as a great value. The reason for four stars instead of five has to do with the damage and the associated customer support from Joola USA. The table was received with some minor damage. Considering the damage was minor, the free shipping, and the fact that it originated in China, it seemed unreasonable to return the table over some missing screws and two of the plastic corners that were cracked. I contacted Joola USA directly and they sent me the two corners and some very tiny screws. The corners were OK, but the screws is where the problem lies. When I originally requested the screws I clearly described them and showed them the location along the skirt. They sent me 3/8" silver metal screws instead of the 1 3/4" black wood screws, in spite of the fact that based upon the high resolution photos that I sent them it would have been clear that it was the wrong screw. After sending them a photo showing the comparison of what they sent versus what I needed they still insisted that I send them photos of my table. They suggested that I must have the Outside table versus the Inside one. This was insulting suggesting that either I was incapable of telling them which table I purchased from Amazon or worse yet, that for some strange reason I was making up my need for nine cheap wood screws and somehow fabricated screws in the high resolution photo that I sent them. Supposedly they have the correct screws in the mail to me today. The table is great but I pity you if you have to work through their customer service department.
