“I'm not sure if I'm expecting too much.I bought this for my group to use instead of the junk net at the office. Whenever we play, I'm replacing the junk net with this net.Good... good looking, tight stretch across, and pretty easy to take down and put back into the box when we are done.Bad... I'm a stickler for detail, and this net simply can't get 6" across. it'll be 6+ at one point or 6- at another. If I spend 5 minutes adjusting it I might be able to get it to near 6" across at all points. If you don't have to set up and tear down like I'm doing, you might just be fine setting it once, but I doubt you will get 6" straight across the table. The other thing is that the top of the net where there is a white strip, the sewing is not high quality and the result is that you will get some spots on the net that is bumpy, like 6 1/16 and 6 exactly in two points that are one inch apart. Another bad thing is that you need to be careful inserting the net end into the socket. I gashed the net about 2 1/2 inches on my VERY FIRST try inserting the rod, because the socket where the slit is, is SHARP. not designed to be sharp, I'm sure, but it is sharp nevertheless. I didn't want to return this thing, but I had to spend 10 minutes to sew that gash. Now I am careful with the insertion and no more rips. ANOTHER bad thing is that the string that you pull to tighten the net... one of the ends frayed ON THE FIRST DAY! I had to spend 10 minutes working on this to eliminate the fray.So much time spent on this net. I had to fix the slot where the net slides in. It's WAY TOO narrow! and sharp. I assembled this net about once a week for my group play, and the net got shredded by the insertion and during alignment of the net. NOT a good designed!! I did make modifications (see photo) and I bought a replacement net from Comesee and it fits. So, I'm good. But this net assembly caused me so much work!! BAD DESIGN”
“No installation instructions were provided. It seemed no brainer for a 40+ year TT enthusiast, however.1. Insert the net first, and do it slowly.2. Attach posts to the table.3. Adjust the net tension. What I did was trying to insert the other end of the net while posts were on the table. While doing so it cut the tissue through like a knife. Will adjust the stars when start using the net.In the meantime, my spouse will replace the holding part.”
