“Durability: Have had this for a little over 2 weeks, so far holding up great to being stored 100% outside. When not in play, I fold this up (which is a quick process that takes less than 5 minutes) and cover it.Play: very subtle differences when compared to a normal wood table. This table plays a bit slower, and the bounce seems to be a bit less. However, these are hardly noticeable and most probably won’t notice a difference at all.Shipping: table arrived in flawless condition. Pieces of wood are used inside the box to protect the table during transport. For some reason my order took over a week to leave the warehouse, but no fault of the manufacturer, seemed to be an amazon issue.Functionality: takes 15 minutes with 2 people to have this set up from the box, only have to screw on the legs. The fold up/down process takes less than 5 minutes, making it easy to store and play in a hurry.Great purchase, zero regrets. If you’re on the fence, do it.”
“I have been searching for a ping pong table for quite some time and I was even considering on getting a used one. After a number of used ping pong tables I have found and their varying degrees of...use, I ultimately decided on purchasing this particular table. What I kept mulling over and what finally made me purchase a brand new one was "If you're going to do it, do it right."And with that being said, if you're looking for a ping pong table you might as well purchase this table.I am definitely not the best player nor am I qualified to determine what would be considered as top ranking tables to play on but what I can tell you about is the overall quality of the table. The table top surface finish is as smooth as eggs and it's a solid build with that solid feeling to it.I would also like to mention that it's extremely heavy and definitely requires two people to shift, flip, and move around. I, unfortunately for me, did not have the luxury of another person to assist me - because I wanted to put the table together before my wife got home and surprise her - assembled the table by my lonesome. I did take the necessary precautions to protect the surface of the table with moving blankets (i.e. those blankets that UHaul over charges you for and basically forces you to open their bag because it stands in the way of progress as you're trying to move crap). Well to say the least, I came out unscathed...and so did the table so there's that.Anyways, to hurry up and summarize this ping pong table, my closing statement is:It's a great table and solid build. I also bought the JOOLA ping pong paddles and it came with 10 ping pong balls and using all JOOLA products (no I am not sponsored nor do I have investments into JOOLA stocks), you can feel the difference in quality of all the items and how well it....just works. If you're going to do something (whatever it is), do it the right way and you'll be satisfied.”
“The table assembly was so easy. Just the wheels needed to be attached. It took me about 30 minutes, including reading the literature, to fully assemble and start playing. All pieces came securely packed and there was no damage. The table comes as two halves that are secured by the net system. It came together with no issues. My initial thoughts on the table performance is that is seems slower than an indoor table surface. Not a complaint but it was noticeable. We own an indoor table as well so the difference was obvious. However, we needed to buy an outdoor table because there is no room in the house. It will fit securely in my shed. The table will be put through its paces in the coming months and it will be subjected to the changing of the New England seasons. If necessary I will update this in the spring! I will be purchasing a cover because although it is an outdoor table why take any chances.”
“I am extremely pleased with this table tennis (ping-pong) table. It's sturdy and folds easily into two halves that are joined together when the net is installed. Since there are two halves, and folding is easy, it's very easy to set the table into a single person practice table with the front half flat and the back half folded up.I was also extremely pleased with the packaging. They did it right with wood paneling inside the large cardboard container. This affords the table protection during shipping. For example, I saw what appeared to be forklift damage to the back of the box. I was really concerned because I figured something must have gotten damaged inside. But I was wrong! The wood paneling inside the box took the damage and the table was pristine. Further, each corner of the table rested in a large, heavy duty rubber corner piece. Thus the corners of the table were also protected.Another extremely pleasing point was the assembly. Very straightforward and easy. Unfortunately I did not time myself, but I'm guessing no more than an hour and I'm a methodical type and take my time to do it right the first time.”
“Now that it's warmer and I've gotten plenty of garage ping pong in, I figured I'd finally give it a review.Obviously this was a daunting thing to order, considering assembly and the off-chance that it arrives damaged and I would have to go through the headache of re-packing it, sending it back, and getting a replacement. Because of that, I had to assemble it in the winter (so that I could return it quickly, if need be), which wasn't ideal, but was on me for ordering it for Christmas and not waiting. Anyway, the table arrived in perfect condition and was much easier to assemble than expected as long as you HAVE ANOTHER PERSON WITH YOU to help you. This would have been impossible alone. My garage floor is uneven, but the table is adjustable enough that it plays perfectly fine. The legs all adjust individually, as you'd expect, and the table surface is flat and pretty close to perfectly level. I'm not playing professional games in my garage, so this is all I was looking for.The ability to (easily!) fold one side up and play alone is awesome, though I know I won't use this feature much. Still, I HAVE used it a few times and it's simple and intuitive. The net is a pain to assemble, and the directions for doing so (a small sub-section in the manual) leave plenty to be desired. I wish there was a URL for a video detailing how to go about it. After about 15 minutes, though, my dad and I had it figured out and it's perfect. As far as the ALL WEATHER aspect goes, I'm not worried about it getting rained on or anything since, as I mentioned, it's in a garage, but I'm really hoping it stands up to Michigan humidity and rapid temp changes. Six months in and so far so good. I love this thing. The table does not come with balls or paddles, so I recommend visiting ColesTT if you buy this, picking some stuff out, and hopefully it all arrives at the same time so you can get right down to it!”
“If you're looking for an outdoor table that is easy to store, quick to put together/put away and plays like an indoor one, this is it. Couldn't be happier with this table! I've always felt Joola is top quality on their indoor tables, but didn't have much exposure to outdoor ones. The few I've played on either sound "tinny" when the balls hit and even seem to bounce differently. This table plays like their indoor models and is durable outside (however - I would still recommend buying a cover to protect your investment - it's just the wise thing to do).A few notes that might help you decide:The initial assembly - very easy! And honestly, I'm usually not very good at these steps. You just have to screw in a few things to the table pieces and you're set to go.Storage and design - the table is actually two separate pieces that fold down and connect with a very sturdy net that uses a clamp to make them even. If you have limited space in your garage, or say a narrow walkway that you have to wheel your table along to get into your back yard, the two separate pieces are light and easy to push and when stored, they create a very narrow profile to take up very little space. Or maybe you want to play on the grass? Pretty easy to push these onto your yard and connect them! I store mine outdoors under an eave and keep a cover on. It's rained a few times since my purchase, but nothing has rusted or warped.Price - outdoor tables tend to be more expensive than indoor ones, but don't go for an indoor one if you plan on storing it outside at all - even with a cover. The last thing you want is a warped table. The quality of this table is worth the price.Durable for play - I've been teaching my kids on this table and they're getting better every time. Sure, their paddles hit the table here and there - but so far, no dings or scratches! (let's hope it stays that way)Enjoy.”
“This is a really nice ping pong table and it looks majestic in the man cave. There was a bit of a mix up at first and i was originally sent the indoor wooden table by mistake. Amazon was helpful and arranged pickup of the wrongly delivery table and shipped out a replacement table. The whole process was pretty streamlined, it took a while but eventually everything worked out okay and I got the table that i had ordered it just took about two months from the time that i had placed the order. If you have never played on an outdoor table, like me, the bounce of the ball is different than the tables I had been used to playing on but I knew this going into this purchase based on other reviews that I had read here. I chose the outdoor table anyways Vs. an indoor table mainly for the durability that a table made to be played outside will provide in a house with a bunch of teenage boys. After a while you get used to the differences and they are pretty minor overall the table plays really well.As nice as this table is and it is super nice I feel that I probably overpaid for it. My family has enjoyed it a lot but $500 is a lot of money to spend on a recreational item that doesn't get used everyday. I would even say that this table is probably overkill for my needs. There were cheaper options out there and I feel like I should have looked closer at those before pulling the trigger on a table this expensive. But what is done is done and overall I am happy with this table and i look forward to our family putting it to good use for the forseeable future.Six months later update....Overall we are still happy with our ping pong table although I have noticed that the top coat of paint chips pretty easily. In fact quite a bit of paint has chipped where the two halfs of the tables meet underneath the net. I'm sure this was caused by rambunctious kids bumping into the table causing the two halfs to rub against each other. The table is still playable but this should be something to keep in mind if you have children around.”
“Assembly:The table was very easy to assemble as the two halves come almost completed assembled. All that is required is to simply attach the bottom of the wheeled legs with the included bolts and lock nuts (requires your own tools)Storage:It's easy fold, however we purchased a cover as we do not fold it every time. The great part of the way it folds, is the self-play capability of folding one side.Table Mobility:The caster wheels roll easily. The locks are a little difficult to get to.Play:Good playing surface, particularly for family fun. I've never played on a pro table, but it works great for us. The included net is tight and mounts easily. For single player mode, the net mounts close to the upright table preventing the ball from getting stuck between as we've seen with other tables.Overall quality:The table seems to be well constructed. Our net came with some stitching coming undone. Interacting with Joola regarding this now.”
