“Nice table overall but 1st table got "LOST" apparently. Then when I finally got Delivery they tried to deliver 2 tables. Refused one on the spot, kept least damaged box. After opening/unboxing there were 2 major indentations on the top, one on each half. I am convinced both happened at the manufacturer/quality control because they are directly above each leg/support and it was packaged extremely well.Amazon made it right by giving me a deep discount. They offered a replacement but Because this was for my vacation house that I was leaving before a new table could have arrived. Other than those issues its a nice table and easy to assemble. Including unboxing about 2 hr set up.”
“We finally received the table today after 11 days since the scheduled date as the delivery was heavily delayed. Thankfully, the delivery guys helped put it in the backyard as it was quite heavy. I did also purchase an outdoor furniture cover (~100CAD) to protect it after use.Pros:- Looks high quality nice, very easy to fold and move- Top looks outdoor durable, though scratch quite easily (we already had a deep scratch from the pins on the box)- Very enjoyable and I was lucky to get it on saleCons:- Package was damaged upon delivery (the item inside appears to be safe)- Table is not flat, the top appeared concaved. Good enough for recreational play.Overall, highly recommend! With everything closed due to lockdown, we can finally enjoy some outdoor activities and sports.”
“The first thing I would like to comment on is the delivery. Amazon delivery service was set up to bring the table between 12 and 3 pm. The table was delivered at approximately 12:30 and with the tracking I was able to tell just where the delivery truck was and how many packages were to be delivered ahead of mine. The two folks that made the delivery were super! Very polite and efficient. I had to complement the driver for their ability to maneuver that big delivery truck through our front gate and down our rather long driveway to the house. As for the table, it appears to be a very good quality. The fit and finish are as good as you should expect for the money. The assembly was quick and easy. The only complaint I have at all is about the net included with the table. It is very cheap in comparison to the table it came with! The clamps are a very flimsy plastic and the net isn’t much better. In fact before I got one of the clamps tightened down the little plastic knob on the threaded clamp bolt broke and just spun around, failing to tighten the clamp to the table. I just grabbed a pair of pliers and snugged it up so we could play. I will buy a better quality net set eventually. All said and done, the table plays great and it was well worth the price paid!”
“I am extremely pleased with the quality of this table, it lived up to its billing of being easy to assemble and it has a very good quality top and the bounce on the ball is better than expected. My only ding on this would be the net. It seems a little flimsy for the quality of the table. I am going to order a second one to have on hand in case this original one fails.I was, however, disappointed in the delivery team. They did not follow the directions to bring the extremely heavy table to the alley behind the house and instead carried it up the 12 steps to my front door. When I was surprised to see them there they were not very pleasant and basically said there were no delivery instructions and they were not going to take it to my specified location. I them had them put it in the side yard and my family had to relocate the table to the backyard so it could be assembled.”
“My wife bought this table as a birthday present for me. I carefully opened the box and assembled the legs on the first half of the table. Only when I went to assemble the other half did I notice the corner was grossly bent. It had actually separated from the adhesive holding the top to the frame. Obviously this was unacceptable. I contacted Amazon and unbelievably they had a replacement delivered within 3 days. The delivery men were very careful in their handling of the heavy box. I told them not to leave until I inspected it. Again I found two of the corners bent but not as bad as the first one. I again contacted Amazon customer service. I told the lady I thought I could fix it but only if I received a discount. Otherwise I would return this one as well. I was satisfied with the discount offered so I kept the table. My repair was okay but still not perfect. I just can’t imagine how anyone can make a profit when the product is damaged over and over again. But I give Amazon extra credit in their effort to make good on this purchase.”
“I made the mistake of buying an inferior table for outdoors prior to this purchase, and it literally fell apart. In hopes of a very different experience, I purchased this aluminum Joola table, played a few times just before our rainy season, bought a cover for it, covered it up and came back to it probably 6 months later dreading to find water damage to the table because the cover had weathered pretty drastically and I was fearing I'd thrown money away again, but this time a lot more. I uncovered the dilapidated cover (ready to be thrown away and replaced) to inspect the table and it was spotless other than a little dust. I wiped it down and it looked absolutely brand new after sitting in the direct sun and rain (covered) for approximately 14 months! We've since played several times and am very impressed with the quality of this table. Everything is holding up extremely well, it seriously looks as new as the day I received it and I have a lot of confidence going into this rainy season that I made the right call. It was not a cheap purchase, but it was definitely the right call to go for this high-end table. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially for outdoor use where other tables have previously failed.”
“hi, We're having a blast with our table! The bounce is good with ordinary balls, the table top is very durable and and good looking. The net clamps work Fine. Note that the two table haves aren't connected. Which at first i was like Whoa... But It's better that they aren't connected since it takes up less room for storage and it's also easier to move 2 halves inside and outside. It's easier and narrower to carry a 1/2 then move the Whole table. The two halves mate up fine and the net clamps work very well too,Seriously, for the 500 bucks it's a steal, this thing is solidly built. My son had 6 teenage friends over and I wasnt worried a bit about that table. My wife an are really enjoying it too! She's been wanting a table for years.Make sure you buy a cover, for when it's setup so leaves and sticks don't get on it.”
“After purchasing the table on Amazon it requests that you pick a delivery time and day. Since we were purchasing this as a gift we decided to delay it a week and have it delivered on a Thursday at 3pm - 6pm window (when I am off work). The week of, that Monday, they call to say it will be delivered tomorrow, Tuesday, at the 12pm - 3pm window. Obviously this was not doable for me but when I asked why couldn't I just have my original, scheduled, delivery date the person on the phone said it was no longer available. Reluctantly I decided to just deal with it and work a later time, won't work for everyone obviously but I am lucky to be able to do that. The day of the delivery they show up at 11:31am, pretty much half an hour before the window. I was just getting out of the shower, so once again I was a bit disappointed. Luckily the delivery drivers were very efficient, kind, and seemed like nice people, so I let the whole delivery fiasco go.The packaging for the table looked dreadful ( deep tears and scratches everywhere, dirt along three sides, dents in the corners) so I was ready to be disappointed again, but when I opened up the box I was delighted to see that they use very hard cardboard with delicate wrapping to protect the table. Kudos on that!Putting together the table took all of maybe 5 minutes (just attached the feet), but here lies the reason I gave this a four star rating. The feet that you attach out of the package are held on with a terribly flawed design. At first I thought maybe they sent me a flawed post, or maybe I misread the instructions, but upon further review of the small pamphlet of a manual you are given I noticed that in fact the table was designed this way. Let me explain, the main support - the legs you are attaching and which will hold the weight of not only the table, but the inevitable people that will fall on it, or move it in awkward horizontal directions with some force- are connected via their ends and two pieces of plate metal. Instead of these hollow posts sliding into each other and having a bolt secure them (which is the basic way any sectional metal object these days are secured, or so it seems) this one has the butt ends stacked and only two pieces of metal on the outside holding them together in what I can only describe as a nimble way.My only other annoyance was that they sent me the wrong net. I ordered the "Rally Outdoor" version, which has some small green textures along the side, and green net posts (or at least that is what is pictured when you select it), but they sent me the one that is pictured in the "Nova DX Outdoor" version - Blue posts. This isn't that big of a deal, as it doesn't clash much, if any, with the table itself, but I feel this is a strange thing to screw up. The perfectionist in me is angry for the fact I would much prefer the green ones. Also, it's about the principle of the matter...I feel, personally, that for the asking price of $500 they could at least do some quality control and a quick rethink of their feet design. I don't feel that the cost is worth it ($350 - $400 is my preferred cost, for many reasons not listed) so I feel that I can't say I would recommend this table. I would be interested to know why the cost is so much. Materials? Production? Shipping? I am willing to rethink my position on this, but until I know more I will stand by it.So why four stars? The key here is that I got what I expected, in that it's an outdoor ping pong table that got me and my friends many hours of fun. It's beyond easy to assemble and dissemble, seconds to do. Everything that it advertises I would say is correct even down to the water proofing, measurements, and functionality (save my net posts). And even though I have a new house rule of "don't fall, jump, or even lean on the table" due to it's design flaw, and my conscious concern of me not wanting to have a broken table on my hands, I still think it's what I wanted.Only time will tell I guess.”
