“I purchased Jane Austen Centre tickets as part of my recent birthday celebrations. It was a fantastic morning. I particularly enjoyed the introductory talk and the chance to dress up. There is a lovely atmosphere and I didn't want to leave. The tea room was also another lovely experience - a little expensive, but it was my birthday!”

It gives you a great insight on Jane Austen's life and how the city of Bath is present on her books. In addition to this, and before starting the visit, one of the guides gave an excellent introduction on Austen's life and her literary work.

“We've wanted to visit the Jane Austen centre in Bath for some time. The early bird discounted ticket gave us the incentive to take the plunge. The visit was enjoyable and informative. It started with a introductory talk by a charming guide dressed in the style of the day. The size of the exhibition is deceptively big so worth setting aside 1.5 hrs to do it justice. Opportunity to try costumes on. Good value for money if u r interested in this period of history.”
