“Love this game! Played it for the first time with my daughters, we had a great time! You don’t need to be a Jane Austen expert to play. Seems a little complex at first, but after a couple of rotations through the players, it’s really easy.”
“I will start by saying I am a huge board game collector, and I have well over 100 (maybe 200) board games. I really enjoyed my "Polite Society" board game. In particular we found the missions aspect of the game the best part, because it really got us thinking about the books and which characters would work well together to fulfill the individual player goals. (We even discussed trying to invent our own Janeite missions to change up gameplay even more.) It's a great board game for a Jane Austen lover who wants to move away from the mainstream style of game (e.g. Monopoly). It might not be a favourite for someone who doesn't know a lot about Austen though, the more you know, the more you will get out of it!”
