After playing the game a few times, this is my honest review. The game is quite fun and everything comes with great quality, very colorful and very engaging. However, I do find a few faults in the game, starting with the long explanation and intricate instructions. It took a while to understand, and the game ends rather quickly. Another problem I found is the artwork, which was in parts great and in others a little disappointing. Some of the characters don't resemble their description at all and changing the color of their skin is historically inaccurate and as much as I appreciate making the game a little more relatable to some, I wish it would've been done in a modern take on Jane's books instead of changing history. The last thing I would like to note is that the character boards could've been made a little more comfortable as it is a little annoying having to take all the tokens off just to flip it around, causing a little mess. The game was enjoyable, and I will continue to play it. This is simply my own personal opinion, and I do think the game is worth it.

Please bear in mind that this is my opinion of the game; it has several plus points, which is why I have given it three stars rather than two despite the fact that I shall be gifting it to my nearest charity shop. On the plus side, which is probably all that people want to know, the game comes beautifully packaged in a very sturdy box and all of the materials within it are of excellent qualiy. the game itself would probably be reasonably entertaining for a group of Austen fans. The first problem I have is, that for my taste, the artwork on the playing cards is horrible. I have attempted to provide a picture of two cards ; General Tilney appears to be channeling Ebenezer Scrooge while poor Colonel Brandon appears to have found a second career as a chimney sweep. My moet personal objection is to the Bennet sisters; I am one of that strange group who takes an interest in Miss Mary Bennet so I was very surprised to find she has no place in this game despite the inclusion of her coughing whiner of a sister Miss Catherine Bennet. I think any normal person would probably enjoy this game if they have an interest in Austen, it's just a shame that I would not personally find it enjoyable to play. Sorry.
