“I will admit, I am a tea snob in California. I prefer loose tea, and I prefer my teapots to be beautiful. Most of my other teapots are white with blue flowers, so this was one that I had to have. I already had the personal pot with cup and saucer, and the creamer and sugar bowl, so I "needed" this pot as well.
Beauty of the pot is one thing, but being about to pour cleanly and neatly from a teapot can make or break it despite how beautiful it may be.
I will say, that it pours wonderfully well, and with a tea towel over, holds the heat in quite well long enough for me to enjoy a couple of cups in the morning.
I would say it is worth the money to get this! It is functional, beautiful, and supports the Jane Austen Gift Shop, especially at this time. What could be better?”
