“I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. I am hosting a charity event with a silent auction. I got excited when I saw the tea cup and saucer. I had planned on pairing the tea cup and saucer with a copy of Pride and Prejudice. The auction is to take place in the US and I thought something like this coming from the UK would be something that people would enjoy and hopefully bid on. What could be better than drinking tea from a cup from the Jane Austin shop and from the Pemberly collection, any enthusiast would love it. I had paid to have it gift wrapped to add to the charm and appeal; it was going to be lovely. Well, first off I was told this item would not be gift wrapped, that was after I had received shipment notification. Honestly I would have cancelled it then had I known. I received the cardboard box with utter disappointment. The cup itself if fine but nothing better than something my mum could have picked up for me at a charity shop, no mention that it was from the Pemberly collection. This is just a random tea cup and saucer and has lost all it's appeal for me. I'm not even sure I will put my offering up for auction I have no proof that this item came from the Jane Austin Gift Shop. Slightly ticked to say the least.”
