“I rated my recent 50-hr course in business English (CTBE) with tutor 3 stars as there was very little contact with a/the tutor. I don't recall any tutor introducing themselves and explaining the support offered by a tutor.
I did contact a tutor once during the course. I was moderately satisfied with the response.
4 stars for the content.
As for the content of the course, I found it built on my knowledge and experience in teaching English as a foreign/second/as another language so that I can work in the business sector.
The extra research (through the provided links) was valuable and motivated me to do further reading. This especially applied to the final summative task.
It would be more student friendly if the Unit task pages were editable/ as a word document so that the student can complete them online.
I will recommend the 50-hr course in business English (CTBE) (without tutor) to others.”
