“I paid extra to use the videos and tutors and didn't find the videos to be extremely helpful and never had any need for the tutors. I felt like they're only offered as a way to take financial advantage of new students who don't know anyone who has taken this course before.
The grammar in some of the units (particularly the additional studies of Young Learners and Business English) really made me question my decision to invest so much money. What does it say about a company that teaches people how to teach English to have such flawed English in their own curriculum?
Some of the information in the curriculum has not aged well and can feel not only out of touch with the modern world, but can be downright offensive as well.
Yes, I feel like I received some helpful resources, but probably the same amount of resources I could get from a $20 book.”

We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t find the videos useful or that you didn’t take advantage of the tutor support that was available to you throughout the course. The feedback that we usually get for both these areas is usually very positive, but we understand that the needs of all course participants will inevitably differ. We acknowledge the comments you submitted in your unit reflections and some changes will be made.
In your YL course unit reflections you mentioned that you were frustrated that you needed to do additional research as part of the course requirements. Every task sheet (which you were advised to complete before each unit test) stated that further research from other sources may be required.

“My 220-hr course was great. I consider that the online platform is really easy to navigate, and that everything regarding instructions and processes is clear. I also consider that materials are more than enough and that the unit documents are well written and explained. The videos are really well done too. On the other hand, I found the unit tests to be quite tedious after a while, mainly the part of the written overview. I also feel a bit insecure about starting to teach English, as the online course didn't involve practique. I guess I'll have to get started and practice on my own. Anyways, I think this is a great course and would recomend it.”

This course is perfect for people who are already TEFL or TESOL certified but lack teaching practice. “The course has been an interesting one, effective and informative.
I have friends that have doubt about online tutoring but iTTT convinced and instill the sense of effectiveness via online learning in me. The courses are well planned, with correct and easy to absorbed materials (notes and videos). The tests are also superb. The course syllabus are all encompassing about Grammar, Phonology, Classroom management, materials, course note designs among others.
