“I opted for the online 120 Hour Course without Tutor Support. The Course Introduction recommended a number of books on Teaching TESOL and English Grammar etc. Given that the Course Lessons were pretty comprehensive, the books were still extremely helpful in exploring the subject matter in greater detail. I am sure that if I had opted for the Tutor Support I would have been able to correct any misunderstandings that I had fairly quickly. The course was instrumental in teaching me that we all have to reflect on our teaching practice and to consider that what we have previously believed may not be the correct (or only) way to approach the teaching of English. There was a continuity in the way and order that the lessons were presented. At first I found it frustrating not to be able to download all the lessons, however after a couple of tests I appreciated that this method meant that the material was fresh in your mind. This also ensured that the tests covered only the material in the Units that you had studied. I thoroughly enjoyed the Course and would recommend it to anyone wishing to embark on the TESOL journey.”

“Already with 5 years of experience teaching English in Brazil, I decided to take my first TELF course. This course added quality information to what I have learned from experience. First the units were each very interesting and filled with information very important to teaching English. The structure of the class flowed very well and the reviews and tests at the end were expertly designed. The time frame was easy to complete also I enjoyed and learned a lot from this course.”

“I loved my TEFL course, which was cost-effective, online and completable on my own time, and thorough in material. I felt the material was at the perfect depth and breadth and efficiently broken out into different modules. The summaries at the end of each lesson that TEFL candidates write really help consolidate each module in your mind as well. Customer Service was prompt and extremely helpful. Also the certificate mailing and the post-completion service has been amazing, really one of the best I've had so far. Thanks ITTT!”

“The course was informative, and I did learn quite a bit about both the English language as well as teaching techniques. The content was definitely helpful although some of the phonetics was probably not necessary for a new teacher. I encountered no problems with the website, and I got my diploma shortly after completing the course. On the the other hand, I never heard back from anyone about my essay at the end, which I felt was a bit lacking considering I was told we would be given feedback. This is not a big problem, but I wonder if any of the essays I wrote were reviewed for anything other than word count. I think considering the course is basically multiple choice, the price could be lower. So I am knocking off a star because of that. A price of between 150-200 would be more appropriate.”

“The course provided a lot of technical and practical information that boost an English teacher's capabilities in teaching. Personally, the course became a refresher since it elaborated on several language points that were taught in my previous studies.
