“I loved my TEFL course, which was cost-effective, online and completable on my own time, and thorough in material. I felt the material was at the perfect depth and breadth and efficiently broken out into different modules. “The course was informative, and I did learn quite a bit about both the English language as well as teaching techniques. The content was definitely helpful although some of the phonetics was probably not necessary for a new teacher.
I encountered no problems with the website, and I got my diploma shortly after completing the course.
On the the other hand, I never heard back from anyone about my essay at the end, which I felt was a bit lacking considering I was told we would be given feedback. This is not a big problem, but I wonder if any of the essays I wrote were reviewed for anything other than word count.
I think considering the course is basically multiple choice, the price could be lower. So I am knocking off a star because of that. A price of between 150-200 would be more appropriate.”
