These high quality re-usable flat glide sheets are supplied to hospitals and nursing homes. They make patient handling much easier and reduce injuries. ?The sheets are available in a teal extra slippy silicone coated polyester fabric. For infection control the slide sheets can be washed at up to 80 degrees centigrade. Most importantly do be careful not to use chlorine bleach or softener when cleaning the glide sheets as this will damage the silicone coating. If the coating becomes damaged the smooth glide action will be reduced. You may also want to buy more than one to create a set. For example - nurses and carers will either use two flat slide sheets together or a flat slide sheet and a flat with handles to perform a patient movement.
