The large blue lap blanket is designed to keep the lap and all around the legs warm whilst sitting. Ideal for use in residential care homes and nursing homes to keep residents warm without using full size single bed blankets. The large blanket is flame retardant and complies with BS EN 12952.

“Too early to review use of the blankets as they are gifts to replace fleecy ones that can no longer be accepted in care homes as they must now be flame retardant. They weren't as thick as I hoped they would be and feel cool to the touch - however the flameproof quality is important and their thermal qualities will probably be felt in use. They are quite substantial, heavy enough to stay in place around the shoulders or lap and they aren't slippy so hopefully they will serve their purpose.”
