There was a lot of information to take in and I found it useful to print out some of the pages, but there wasnt a 'printable' version of the page.

Excellent course. Just two queries. Page 16 of 19 (PAT testing with a device). The statement at the bottom of the page is confusing. It states "Use a low voltage test for these appliances. The voltage should be 20 -200 mAmps to prevent damage" Voltage is measured in Volts not milli Amps. Second query is the page with the risk calculation for the hand drill. The Class is 2, the Type is 6, the environment is 1 (all correct) the narrative gives the average failure rate of 2.5. I made the following calculation 2 x 6 x 1 x 2.5 = 30 yet the page stated I was wrong and the answer was 24. I would like to understand why a failure factor of 2 was applied instead of 2.5. (I CAN BE CONTACTED AT SWEDELL@OUTLOOK.COM) All in all a very informative and useful course. Great value for money. MANY THANKS STEVE

Hi Stephen Thanks for your very positive review of the PATTesting course. And thanks for getting in touch again to say you worked out your mistake with the hand drill risk calculation, very decent of you. We'll look into your other point about low voltage tests and try to iron out any confusion. Thanks for your input on that. Kind regards, i2Comply team
