“Too much detail on legislation with no detail on what to do locally ie contacts and Child protection Officers within the school. 2 hours is far too long for my needs. Occasionally questions asked that were not covered in the previous presentation.”

Sorry to hear you felt the course didn't meet your needs. It is not possible for us to cover local issues in a generic course, but of course these local issues are important. You could discuss them with your manager or other appropriate person in your organisation. The content on legislation outlines the law in different parts of the UK seperately as the legislation does vary. There is no need for a learner to look at all the sections, they can just look at the part of the UK that is relevant to them. We will look into making this clearer in the course, so thanks for that useful feedback. Some of the questions in the topics ask the learner to apply the information to an example so the answers would not specifically be laid out in the earlier screens. We consider these questions to be an important part of the learning experience. Of course we don't know if you are referring to one of these questions in your review and we will take a thorough look at the questions with your comments in mind. We hope you got something out of completing the course.
