There were generally excellent graphics and questions, most were not too ambiguous and all added to knowledge. The only question I would have is the bit about taking notes when talking with children who are telling you about potential abuse. You say not to, but to do it after (which I feel is open to mis-remembering) - My husband and I have always been told in safeguarding training to have a notebook and to take notes along the way, while checking with child if you have noted the correct information.

Thanks very much for the positive rating and the feedback on the Safeguarding Children course. The advice about not taking notes comes from NSPCC who did research on how adults can better respond to a child who is disclosing abuse. They state the importance of fully listening, possibly over more than one session. They suggest notes should be taken as soon as possible after the conversation. In response to your comment, we will do some further research on any other advice in this area and discuss it with safeguarding experts. Thanks again and kind regards, i2Comply Support
