Extremely comfortable from the first wear, versus a lot of other brands that you need to wear in! Will be back for another pair

Cannot fault my pair of Hylos. Super comfortable and look great with my workout gear and casually out and about. As a new brand - really impressed with your first attempt at product and looking forward to seeing how things improve and grow. Keep up the great work. M

These are great for the gym and look great. I really appreciate the effort for sustainability. That being said, after a few wears my heel started moving in them so I can't run for more than a few km in them anymore which is a real shame. More stability in the heel would be great as I love everything else about them and will still wear them to the gym.

Hi, I have used my new Hylos now 3 times on my regular 10km run. I really like the upper part which fits really well onto my foot, breathes well (even a bit cold on the colder days!) and looks great. The inside of the sole has a really nice inside arch that fits my foot perfectly, but otherwise I am not so happy with the sole for two reasons. Firstly, it is very flat and forces me to run very flat-footed. Most running shoes have a thicker heel which tilts the body forward for easier running. I prefer to run on the front of my foot, but the Hylos didn't let me properly do that, they kind of forced me back onto my heel which I don't like and made me more tired at the end of the run. Secondly, the sole is very thin and does not provide enough shock absorption which concerns me because I run on hard surfaces where I need to protect my joints. To solve both of these problems I purchased an insole with a thicker heel to tilt me forwards and to give more cushioning, and this has worked really well. So for future models I would recommend either making the sole thicker or improving the insole. One final comment (but not a criticism) is that the impact of the shoe on the ground is kind of loud and makes a sort of slapping sound. I am sure this is just due to the material used which probably needs to be a bit harder to be robust. But I haven't experienced this with other shoes before. All in all, I think these are a great first product but they still have signs of being a 'first product'. I still believe in what you're doing and I'm proud to wear them and support what you're doing. I hope you'll take this feedback into account, and I look forward to the next model. Best regards, Josh Morshead

Hi, I love the product and the concept. However, I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 as I found the sizing is too small. I used the size comparison checker when choosing my size, however, I find them a bit too small. Sadly, I've walked around outside in them so I can't return them for a different size but wanted to pass back this feedback.
