They were pretty stiff fresh out of the box and it took a couple days to break them in. Worn them every day since, and they’re great. Well made and worth every penny.

These trainers are so comfy and lightweight. I've been wearing them regularly for running/jogging and they're perfect.

Love my new trainers, they are very soft and and supportive and I feel like walking on clouds! The only improvement they would need for me is heel cushioning, the current version is too hard and my narrow heels are rubbing against the seams. I can remedy this with stick on heel cushion pads and only wear thicker sports socks. I understand that the foam in traditional trainers is not ecologically friendly but there ma be options? So for now I’m very happy with my Hylo’s but would like to see softer heel support in future please. Thank you for developing a great product!

Love the look of them and it’s nice to go greener, but I’m finding the backs really pinchy, even before using them for hard exercise. Played a netball game in them on Saturday and they felt good but I was wearing blister pads so the pinching wouldn’t scrub the skin off my heels. Seem to be breaking in quite well though, so fingers crossed.

I can't fault these. To anyone worried that they're somehow not as good as 'conventional' running shoes, I don't think you have anything to worry about. They're just as good as anything I've worn from New Balance or Asics, for example, but have a far, far better environmental impact. They'll be the shoes I wear as I aim to run sub-3 at the Manchester Marathon in a fortnight
