“Took a week or so to break in but these trainers are amazing. They look really nice, super stylish design and are really comfortable. Huge win as well of course that they’re sustainable. Really happy with this purchase & would say they’re definitely worth the higher price.”
“I've worn the Hylo Athletics shoes for a couple of weeks now and they certainly are comfortable and lightweight.
As an ex professional GB 1500m track athlete I've worn plenty of different shoe types. I would compare the Hylo Athletics shoe more to something that I would do faster workouts in, such as tempo runs or longer track workouts. They aren't as structured or heavy as a shoe that I would tend to do longer, steadier runs in. The drop from the heel to forefoot is also minimal compared to a more structured shoe so a good shoe for when you are up on your forefoot and toes more and running quicker.
I'd love to see Hylo develop a more structured shoe, with more support around the heel and a greater drop for those longer, steadier runs.”
“I'm impressed by how light the shoes are. Very comfortable to wear no chafing and sufficiently springy to make running in them enjoyable and easy. Love the slogan makes me happy every time I see it and helps get me pumped up for each run. My first day wearing them noticed the guy opposite me on the tube was also wearing Hylo we were both pleasantly surprised by this and provided one of those very rare positive interaction with a stranger on transport moments. Now for the real test to see how long they last but so far very happy.”
“Lovely trainer! Great to smarten up a work outfit or for on the go. They did rub my foot/ ankle a little bit but I assume this will go in time. Other than that they're very comfortable and I've had lots of compliments!”
“I have to say that these were extremely comfortable and a very good fit, but I’m a bit concerned about the durability of them, especially around the big toe end. Only time will tell.”
