“Hear me out…. My particular batch of the bovine collagen absolutely stinks - it smells like ground up animal which is what it is, HOWEVER, I am now used to it after only a couple of weeks of daily intake and there’s something weirdly reassuring about it clearly being what it says on the tin. There is no taste whatsoever. I have also started to already feel some benefits given I’m doing nothing else but taking this and am yet to make changes to my diet and exercise after new year. My skin is better, my sleep is better, my gut is functioning better, and I am absolutely 10000% confident in the product and it offering what it promises both now and long term. I’ve read up a lot about how much better bovine collagen is vs marine (please do your research) and we are happy customers of the hunter gather range of sauces already, so made sense for me to choose this brand for collagen. My only suggestion is that it would be so much easier to take it in capsule form. The powder is unlikely to travel well in my opinion.”

Happy to hear that you have seen such awesome improvements since taking the Bovine Collagen. 👏 As you mention our Bovine Collagen is 100% pure with nothing else added. It is neutral in flavor and usually, after you have opened the packet the smell dissipates quickly. I will be sure to add to our wish list about the capsule form. “Delivery was quick but unfortunaltey I thought the taste was dreadful and it smells bad too. Don't be fooled by the 'unflavoured' as I was this just means they haven't tried to disguise the taste. On a positive note I gave it to a friend and she thinks its okay and will problay order again.”

Hey Sally, thank you for your review we are so sorry to hear that you are not happy with the taste/smell of the collagen you have received. Our collagen is unflavoured however there can be slight differences from batch to batch due to the natural nature of the product. Seasonality can also make a difference. The collagen can also smell stronger on initial opening of the bag, and this normally dissipates quite quickly.
