“Having previously bought a number of Humax recorders over the years with complete satisfaction I am very disappointed with my new Aura. It is no improvement on my current ordinary Humax recorder in another room. I phoned Humax before buying and was told that, if I wanted record NOW programmes I would need an Aura recorder, As I now know this to be untrue I feel the sales team need better training! I was able to download BT Sport, Disney + apps but not NOW TV or Netflix. As I can access Netflix on my older Humax box it seems the Aura's technology has gone backwards.”

I was expecting better than Fox-2T, unfortunately I still prefer it. Much better then Aura. It is simple to use, to use sub you need to press 3 times, every chanell change you need to do it again. Every chanell change unnecessery things coming on the screen. Not better, i don’t like it at all.”
“Good quality recordings. Although only used on BBC iPlayer catch up works well. The main issue I have is that linking to a new LG OLED tv is very slow and often takes 2 to 3 minutes which is very frustrating.”
“I think the Humax Aura is great. It's presently being used in a TV bed. It works just like you'd want it to. I've had several Humax recorder products over the years. Some had minor limitations but the Aura is brilliant. No, I am not connected in anyway to the company and would not provide a good review under any circumstances if I believed or felt the product was lacking in any way. Love it. Best on the market.
My only criticism and my reason for not giving five stars is the lack of the NETFLIX app which indeed we have on our other still-in-use-recorder (FVP 5000 T)
Maybe they will put that right going forward but it doesn't really bother me as one can mirror from one's mobile. Or simply use the smart TV function.”
