“Where to begin, lagged, kept changing Chanel on its own choice, talk voice of programmes did not tune crane the actors - basically was out of sync. Annoying as I’ve had 4 of these auras and everyone did not work correctly, even the one I bought from Humax direct. I’m still waiting on a refund.”
“i swapped a virgin box made by humax for the humax aura. i was very disappointed by how poor the humax box performed in comparison to the box they make for virgin and you would think humax had never made a remote control before, it is so unfriendly to use”
“A good pvr. Bought it to replace Sky Q. Easy to operate. Just a couple of Apps that I would have liked installed, such as Netflix, Now TV, and Britbox. However, my LG Oled, has these built in, so not such a problem. It will pay for itself, now I've got rid of Sky, since their last price increase.”
“Great Piece of Kit as I have grown to expect from Humax. My Only Criticism is that recording quality is a bit iffy. Corrupted files and pixelated glitches are frequent. I'm hoping a software update will fix this!”
“As delivered the device had many faults. Was supposed to be fully refurbished but required a lot of work to get it working. Initial tuning problems with the signal strength varying were eventually resolved with a full factory reset. An occasional total 2 sec. freeze seemed to be corrected by changing the HDMI cable and port. The only remaining fault is an occasional total system lock which needs a power down to correct. Potentially an amazing piece of kit that streams 4k very well but takes a lot of getting used to. Still not using all of the features.”
