“The Aura seemed like everything I wanted, but I thought the picture quality was disappointing, the software was clunky and some apps just out and out didn’t work. Then it stopped powering up after 4 days of use so I had to return it. I may have kept it hoping for bugs to be ironed out if it hadn’t failed altogether. Service from Humax has also been disappointing, from delivery through to collection, and I’m optimistic that one day soon I will actually get the refund without having to chase them again.”
“I love the new Humax Aura, the ease of use is intuitive and straight forward, though I’ve never had a Humax before it’s been very easy to live with. Hooked up to the internet, it speeds through every operation with ease. Great job Humax. The only things I’d change, would be the size of font for the program guide and programming as it’s very small. Also a minor wish would be to change the standby light from red to blue, as all my other equipment has blue standby’s. Overall though very happy.”
“OK but for the following
1. Universal Remote, pressing OK and TV STANDBY together does not work, no red light
2. Freeview internet channels, eg 264 not available
3. Had to change instruction set on Humax Freesat box as same as Aura. Now I cannot use my
Harmony remote”
