It took a while to install, as I wanted to add network cable, aerial and hdmi. For a while could not get Aura and Samsung TV to talk to each other. Very frustrating. Finally, don't know how, it all started working. And I love it. Especially the Bluetooth control. No more trying line of sight remote controlling. Whole menu layout, remote layout, a lot simpler. Humax did good with this new model. Glad I upgraded. Would be nice if they did trade ins though.

The Aura that I had bought from had to be returned because i was having trouble with the reception. I do not think that the problem was with the Aura but the area in which I live. We can't even get all Freeview channels here. I have at least five Freeview and FTA Humax PVR and am very happy with the products. I am disappointed that I cold not use the full potential of the Aura.

Bought the humax aura box 1TB to replace my sky box. Glad I did the box is easy to set up, the picture is very good. What I like it has Google apps, although there are some apps you can't install such as Netflix which I don't mind because I have the app on my TV. I also like you can record 4 programs at once while watching another channel. If read a lot of reviews about humax aura some not so good. There is one thing I have with the box the volume control goes quite to loud just one press on the remote. Also when you want to turn the TV off or on just press the Google button say turn on or off. Like the box because of the Google apps. I like it so much I'm going to buy another. And Im save money not having sky. Not every freeview box is perfect but I like the humax aura. Brian Russell

It's a good recorder very fast unlike their older models, but it has some issues, sometimes it won't power up unless you recycle the power, doesn't record programs on a series sometimes, the app could be better arranged,

I have used an ordinary recorder for many years and I am now amazed at the wide range given by the Aura. I am still finding my way with the Aura but at this stage I can only say how imressed I am at the versitility.

Excellent product, clearly there is enough processing power to flick between screens with minimal delay. The resulting screen output looks good on my old bravia sony and the sound is fine through my quad amp. Its nice and small and the remote is broadly comprehensible. Recording from the TV listings is easy and seems to work fine. Ok the only down side is why no NETFLIX! and it appears that a concerted attempt been made to stop you getting there. Fortunately my cheapo dvd player has it, but struth...
