“I was expecting great things from my new Aura, after the write up I'd read about it. It's not bad though, I must admit. However, it is very similar to my old Humax unit that I was replacing. There still seems to be a few operating quirks when first turned on each day, which I thought would have been ironed out by now. But on the whole, its a good and versatile unit. Picture and sound quality are very good indeed, and it has enough apps to keep most people happy. I'm very pleased with it.”

“First Aura box I had was faulty and was promised exchange within a week. Given a day by Humax when the exchange box would arrive but nothing came, and I'd booked the day off to receive this Humax box. I then had to argue for the exchange which took two weeks to come.
Customer service lacking. Aura box good but still has software bugs in it which need attention, and does not support Netflix, UK's favorites streaming media.”
“For me , the best feature is the ease of seting up a recording.. Just go into program guide, select your choice and press the button -Job done! Playback is brilliant.
Only downside- it's a little slow starting up but not a real problem. Very happy with this machine. Best I've had.”
“Gave it back no good for my wife she uses subtitles all the time ,with the Humax Aura you have to keep switching them all the time with every programme. Very annoying!!
Went back to old box at least with it subtitles stay on all the time.”
