“We are very happy with the style, performance and speed, but are unhappy about one function related to the setting of recordings from the Guide. When you are on the Guide certain programs are marked with an arrowhead in a circle. With these programs you cannot set them to record because when you select them you are automatically diverted to watch them 'on demand'. This may suit some people but it does not suit us. It would be better if we were given the choice between setting them as for other recordings or watching on demand.”
“Updated my Humax box to the Aura 4K and am very pleased I did. With the new look of the Aura plus the ability to add my apps a bonus. Comes with Kodi pre-installed which is also useful. All the other apps that you have on a smart TV are built in and the home screen layout is good.
Have added the Aura app on my smartphone which makes setting recordings, program guides and viewing recorded items on my phone a bonus.
The remote with voice control is very good and the handset control keys are well laid out with descriptions of what does what.
I would like Humax to enable a wireless mouse control function as this is an android operating system it would be useful.
Yes I recommend the Aura 4K, the Humax TV recoreder has saved me a lot of money by not needing Sky or Virgin Media etc.”

the TV on. Having to now switch the TV off at the wall socket. I have emailed

“The ability to record 4 programs at once is great. The box UI is nice and is very fast. Remote recording works well. I have had the occasional glitch where the home page wouldn't appear and I had to reboot to fix it. The continuing lack of Netflix is disappointing.”
“Purchased the Aura to work in conjunction with my Samsung 4k TV and to replace my old Humax Freesat STB. The Aura was quick and easy to setup, is easy to use use and the picture quality and number of available channels, when connected to the Internet, is absolutely amazing. “Overall, very pleased. I found I had to change the output resolution settings to optimise the TV picture but, once done, the picture was very good. My only (minor) criticism is the number of "base" screens. You have a Freeview play button and an Android Home button (plus the recordings button and the guide button). I would have thought things could be simplified further. I have never used the Android Home button since playing around with things on Day 1”
