“Basically, its OK...but
The FreeView tuner is poor at recording programmes on stations a bit lower than BBC.
Stations above 20, on the FreeView hierarchy, have a tendency to crap out due to "signal weakness".
I had my aerial checked professionally and then followed some instructions from Support, which worked for a bit...then they stopped.
We're not talking about "weirdo" stations here: ITV3, Drama, 5USA, Pick are regulars of mine, and I suspect a large audience.
This is not good.
The interface is much better than my last Humax box, the one taken over by BT TV.
But why won't it give me my Radio Times Featured stations.
Is it a Firmware or a software problem?
Humax is not telling us.
Why should they? They're doing quite nicely, thank you.

I like to copy recorded movies onto an external hard drive but this is made very difficult and laborious as it can take hours to transfer one movie and a lot of the time, the copying fails or is corrupted, plus there is no 'progress' bar so one is left in limbo!!!
I do hope Humax resolves this issue as it is annoying and caused my unit to 'lock-up' on more than one occasion after numerous failed attempts to copy!!”
