“Good picture, quick start up, clunky menus, can't fast forward in set periods (eg 2mm) in the apps, small box but odd design (can't see on/stand-by light)”
“I have (as have many others according to support sites) HUGE problems with this Humax not recording
It seems like it turns power off the tuner (Despite great care being taken with settings) Manual is unhelpful
We have had a Humax previously but without catch up - It was GREAT but is now old and starting to fail
Software on here is Poorly thought out - VERY Slow to react and just bad experience all round
Put me off HUmax for life I think”
“I love the machine but dislike not being able to access a genre search for the entire epg, not even a full day! So I buy a weekly guide which is time consuming to search. It is difficult to tell whether I have actually switched it to standby if a recording is in progress separated led lights would be good. And last gripe, on playing back a series the latest recording is always highlighted which necessitates scrolling to the first recorded episode. These comments are intended to be constructive it is an excellent product”
“Easy to set up & use. Tuning seems a a little sensitive (can't get HD). Do not like the way it 'splits' recordings of long films. Lots of space to record.”
