“I already own a Humax Freesat PVR and compared with that I find the Freeview PVR has a duller picture and a less intuitive programme guide, but it can record more programmes simultaneously and most important for me it allows me to see Channel 4HD and On Demand, both of which were summarily withdrawn from Freesat.”
“I have used various Humax offerings including the FOX T2 and found them satisfactory for watching time slipped TV programs. This recent FVP purchase works just as well as the others and there have been no issues. The only rather annoying facet is the Freeview Programme matrix. It is all black except for the entries which are in very small white font and each page has an appreciable lag in appearing. It's irritatingly hard to read.. Not a reason to forgo a purchase however.”

“Fast delivery and the functionality is very good. All the apps worked well as did the recording function. It was bought as a replacement for Virgin Media.
My only disappointment was and still is the excessive noise the unit makes, at times it can quite clearly be heard over the tv when on normal volume. I did try and call customer service several times but there was answer. I gave up after that!!! I will live with the noise”
