Looks just like new, no problems so far my wife says the screen writing is on the small side and the picture brightness could do with a way to adjust but over all a very good system

This is our second purchase of refurbished Humax units. We have found them as good as new ones and very good value.

Have had a BT Youview box made by Humax that I was happy with so thought this would be a step up. Not so was so disappointed. From the start The remote was lightweight and cheap and buttons had a horrible feel. The remote also only operated the volume on the Humax box and not on the TV ( Despite trying every single code provided ) this means that the PVR max volume is the volume set on TV The Youview remote changes the TV volume which is so much better. The actual PVR was also quite noisy. Also the app to view recordings on your phone/tablet was very flaky. Customer support was very hard to contact and slow to respond. Would possibly try Humax Aura If they can get it to support Netflix and Amazon (yes you guessed it ..... like the Youview box does)..... But for now will buy new Youview Box... I feel very disappointed.......

If this is a refurbished item then it is fantastic!! Looks new, works as new, all functions do what they are supposed to, the remote works and feels like new with no sloppy mis functioning keys. All in all a great Humax product and as usual time will tell as to it`s longevity, excellent.

Bought as secondary STB for bedroom to link recently purchased FVB-5000T 1TB in lounge. Arrived in as new condition apart from plain packaging. Great value for money. My only reservation is that previous recordings had not been erased so not a a full factory reset. This should not have been allowed to happen, hence my 3 star rating. Would otherwise have given 5 stars.

I had a HDR2000T for years. Subtitles on ITV recordings were out of sync so I had to copy the files off. Subtitles were OK on the PC. So when it got unreliable I bought the Which best buy - the Manhattan. But the usb port cannot be used so copying files on or off meant using networking - possible but tedious, And the menus were dreadful. Messy and incomprehensible. So it's back to Humax - the FVP5000T - usb works, subtitles work but the menus are messy and difficult to use, and it's slow compared to the manhattan, and the disk is noisy, and you cannot create folders for the recordings. So take your choice!
