“I had previously owned your HDR-FOX T2 HD Recorder for about 8-10 years. It gave excellent service and now my daughter has it. I found that the FVP-5000T far more complicated to use. For one thing you can't see if your programmes are actually recording. There is no indication whatsoever that the box is actually turned on. There are two lights underneath the front of the unit that you can't see. One is blue and the other red. They serve no purpose whatsoever in my view. So far I have had no problems with it but I think I preferred the old Humax Recorder. I also find the remote control a bit of a nuisance sometimes when you are not sure which buttons you have to press. No doubt I will get used to it. I cannot fault it otherwise it gives me a excellent picture and so far hasn't me caused any problems.”
