“We already have two FVP-5000T's. Needed another one (we have five TV's in use). Bought the refurbished model as seemed good value. Very prompt delivery. Packing and condition indistinguishable from new. Easy to set up. Works perfectly. Well pleased after 4 weeks of trouble free use.”
“This in my third purchase. Has I have said before a magic machine being able to record 4 programs at the same time. However, it is woefully slow, slow, slow to respond to respond to the remote control. Faster processor required.”

“Basically, the unit is working ok, but there's something wrong with either the unit or the remote. I first switch on the TV, then the Humax, but I have to press the the on switch about 4 times before it comes on. Then, if I want to switch to a different channel from the one it come on at, or press the recordings button, it goes off and I have to start over again.
Also, twice I've got no sound on it, and had to switch if off, then on again; and it's not the TV, it's the Humax.
I've purchesed several refurb units over the years, but this is the first I've had any bother with. I'll have to contact them again, and get it sorted.”
“Very good. Wake up time is far better than my old youview box. I don't find the layout to be as intuitive and preferred the fast forward on the youview box. Took a bit of playing around to set up the network connection with my PC. A lot of the pictures on my PC can not be viewed over the network(DLNA) due to their size. The TV live app is a bit temperamental, and only SD recordings can be played back. Missed programs have to be found on the apps rather than going back in the program guide like on the youview box.”
“Picture and sound are faultless. The recording and playback controls are very laggy, press the button and wait 3 or 4 seconds, extremely frustrating and I'm afraid despite other advances our old box was much faster to respond”
