This is my second "refurbished" Humax recorder. It was delivered next day in a proper box for the recorder along with all the cables etc I'd expect if I'd bought an non-refurbished unit.
I haven't found any cosmetic blemishes or technical deficiencies in the month I've had it.”

“Very good condition (like new). Would not power up at first start up so recycled power then carried out On-screen set up and working ok. The box has worked fine since then apart from a couple of occasions when the screen has frozen and required the power to be recycled.”
“It does the job, but as other reviewers have said it's slow and somewhat clunky. I've had a Humax Freesat box for a few years which is better than this - why bring out a new model, completely redesign the user interface and make it worse than the old one? Also, when I received the recorder, although the security seal was intact, all that was in the package was the unit itself - Humax had forgotten to include the power adapter, remote control and other cables! After a phone call, these were received a few days later, but not very impressive.”
