“It is awful. Anything to do with the internet only randomly works. It is very noisy, sounds like the hard drive is permanently doing something even in standby. The volume has to be at maximum to have a chance of hearing anything. After turning it on from standby after a short while it goes back to standby. It is very slow to do anything.
Customer service is appalling. I wanted to return it for a refund and supplied the Humax direct order number, which should be enough to provide all the required details but this is not good enough and you are forced to enter them all again. Try phoning the support line and no one answers. Apparently, it will be collected and a refund issued but I am still waiting. I will never buy any Humax product again.”
“Pretty good little freeview recorder, a couple of setbacks though, it will bluescreen every now and then for a couple of seconds and sometimes it won't switch on and we have to switch it all off at the plug, otherwise it's been great so far.”
“Love the products sadly two previous models both failed within a week of each other which is a common fault with refurbished models which sadly deters me from purchasing a brand new model, also they are mow becoming rare, and Humax have apparently stopped manufacturing them”

“Remote is a bit cheap and nasty. No ability to change font of onscreen guide which is very hard to read as not well defined despite resolution on highest setting. Ability to record 4 programmes at once is very good. LED that denotes power status is very low power and hard to see as hidden at base of unit.”
