“Good value refurbished unit. A little slow to respond to the remote plus the vivid menu graphics can cause screen burn over time so try to avoid spending to much time in the menus.”
“I replaced my 9 yr old humax, which I was very satisfied with, but it eventually gave up.. the remote controls on this new one are very different so are taking some getting used to. On the negative side, I'm very disappointed that there is no " info " button on remote or a fast forward 1 minute button, which was very useful for skipping adverts on recordings on my previous model as these are usually precisely 4 minutes.
The power light is not an improvement either as it is underneath the device and difficult to see wether its on or off.
Still think it is a device worth owning and wouldn't like to be without it.”

“Can not recommend this recorder,have got a older model with two tuners,and absolutely fantastic bit of kit,works good and fast with brilliant software, so expected the FVP 500T to be the same, but it's not. Absolutely rubbish software, very slow to respond,clunky and unintuitive, have to make lots of button pressing to get anything to work,so slow that I press twice because I think nothing happening, and then the repeat press cancels what I want to happen. I only chose this model for the three tuners instead of two on the other models, if I could return it and change it I would.As a refurbished unit it was very good no complaints about the hardware, except for the light on the front,imposible to see it lit or what colour is on. Don't buy.”
“This is an excellent piece of kit. Straight out of the box is easy to set up. Simple effective user interface. Record multiple programs at once and has all the online players you'd every need. Impressive customer service and delivery from Humax. Cannot fault anything in anyway.”
