“The FVP-5000T performs all of its functions very well but is painfully slow to process any commands. This is 2022 and most people take for granted the virtualy instant response to key clicks and button pushes. However, the Humax FVP-5000T does not meet these expectations.”

“It's a handy box, easy to browse the schedule and pick a programme to watch or record. Not quite so easy to use as the little BT box it replaced, somehow a but fussy about selecting a live programme from certain channels (but easy to work around by entering the channel number). Really useful to have the recording feature.
Although it was refurbished, it looks good as new and it came with all the accessories.”
