Waiting for my Sky contract to finish before switching over to my new Humax FVP-5000T Freeview Play/Recorder box. Everything went well in testing.

Good product, easy to use and playback. All recordings so far fine with no cropping. Works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase and thoroughly recommend.

can't give a score or submit on ie11. Item was as new. Have had a problem with recordings cut short which has not recurred after contacting support and channels scan on default. One channel, 65 Freesports, was missing. I only got that back when I didn't go through the advised procedure but used Smart channel search. The Machine supplied was 1 TB and not 500GB. It has an irritating pop up about available on HD. Surely Humax could put a stop to that.

This is my first Humax recorder and it works as it should, just about the same, operation-wise as the BT box which it replaced (which was also a Humax). Just one complaint though, you don't know when it's on or if it's recording or not, the tiny blue tell-tale light is exactly that, it's positioned almost underneath at the front and has just the faintest glimmer that you can't see if it's on or not. Apart from that it a good box.
