“I changed my broadband supplier and decided as we only watched the normally 5 channels so just needed something to record and control normal tv. Only gave it 4 stars as I cannot synch volume using my sound bar. Problem is almost solved but sound keeps reverting to 20 on sound bar when I switch off.”
“Ordered directly from Humax. Machine was faulty, requested a replacement. Never arrived, spoke to 3 different people getting different information every time. I was then told id definitely get the new one on the Monday. I doubled checked it definitely was a brand new one as less then 30 days old. Reassured it was. Monday came no parcel as it wasn't a new one they had actually sent me out a reconditioned one. Asked if I would book an another delivery. Said no especially after reading trustpilot reviews. I was told the faulty box would be collected Wednesday, and to get a refund i had to email confirmation of dpd collection. I done that Wednesday no reply acknowledging me email. You apparently have to wait 15 days for the money. I honestly thought going direct it would be professional. I now have no trust or faith in the company.”
“Easy to set up and does everything but could do with the ability to go back days at a time when viewing guide for catch up TV rather than going back programme by programme.”
“Before choosing this box from your range of products, I checked with your customer service department that this new box would have the same functions as my then current Humax box.But since purchasing this new Humax box, which was intended as upgrade to my older Humax box (HDR-2000T/1TB/WD),I have found that I can no longer transfer recording made on this new box to usb memory sticks, which was something I had been doing with my older Humax box without any trouble. I contacted your customer service department, who were very helpful, and I followed the information provided by them on how to carry out the transfer with my new box, but still had no success. Now I feel that I have wasted money on something that is of very little use to me and I now feel that it really doesn't encourage me to consider future purchases of any of your products.”
“Humax customer for 5+ years, I purchased two of these to replace existing boxes and had to return them, The user interface responsiveness was so slow they were unusable, something went wrong in product development with these ones. Look forward to trying the next generation. Humax support was excellent and the return was easy. I ended up purchasing a new HDR-1800”
