“Unfortunately had to return this for a refund. The menu navigation was very poor. Long processes for doing anything. No skip to next day button, have to go into each item to delete it. The list of recorded items had very little information on it, which meant going into each item for details. No info on channel list, again have to go into each programme for more details.”
“I had an aging HDR FOX-T2 which has preformed perfectly for years, but decided to upgrade to a new model. Unfortunately the FVP has not been as reliable. picture freezing while watching TV, the dialogue carries on, remote is unresponsive also the box top buttons are unresponsive, only way is get the picture back is to unplug the power lead The recordings page freezes making the box unresponsive to any controls on the remote, only way to get away from the page is to again unplug/replug the power lead. Have been in touch with Humax via email but still no reply after 11 days, poor effort guys.”

So far no problems with the machine . Hope it gives us many years of satisfactory use as our previous Humax.

“This is my forth Humax PVR, and has lived up to all expectations. The picture quality, and its up-scaling facility, are excellent; as is the sound.
The OS is somewhat different to the previous models, but is never-the-less easy to use - after using a few expletives!
If it has a problem it is that one cannot tell from the light on the front of the box whether the PVR is on or not - a very minor problem.
Overall, I am fully satisfied with the PVR, and would recommend it to anyone.”
“I had a 2000T model previously and had been impressed by Humax. For various reasons reverted to a Sony HDD player and have now returned to Humax since believe it is a better product. Now have 5000T and apart from a couple of problems in setting up which were quickly resolved, would definitely recommend.”
