“Got fed up with paying stupid money for Sky Q. Spoke to a salesman in Currys, checked the internet and purchased the FVP-5000T direct from Humax. Brilliant! Excellent, easy to set up does everything we need it to and we might even add the multi room box a bit later.
Never go back to Sky.

“Quick & Easy to set up. Picture quality good on all channels. Our Smart TV is 720p HD. Unit is default as 1080p which gave slight picture break-up on HD Sevices. Reset unit to 720p and this seems to have cleared this. Do not like the current channel showing behind the program guide of the recording list, rather distracting. Would be nice if the length of the recorded program was shown before starting to view. Readily set up the connection to my Modem/router to access catch-up TV. All in all very pleased with it.”
“Excellent purchase. Easy set up and very easy to use. My only concern is my TV occasionally fails to find the tuner signal if switched on while recording. This necessitates switching off the device, thus interrupting the recording. Upon switching the device back on you then have to restart the recording manually. Bit of a faff, but it's the only workaround I have found so far.”
“I love my new Humax 5000T. This is about my third one ever since Humax launched the first one all those years ago. It came very well packaged, with full instructions ( with words not stupid little diagrams.) I love the new font and all new buttons, and intuitive menus. Well done Humax UK. Keep up the good work.”
