“Poor. Finicky. Slow. Guide so small it’s difficult to read. Cannot record short snippets of a programme, it goes right back to the beginning every time. And more, much more. But then I was spoiled with my Fox T2. A great machine until it broke down and you can neither repair nor supply a service diagram to allow the local man to repair it. Humax? Never again, and I’m spreading the word thru my satellite club. Will this do any good??? Haha. Ironic laughter.”
“Having been used to a Virgin TiVo box this one has a lot of catching up to do. I know it is a Freeview box and connot be directly compared, however, it doesn't give you information on when a program was first shown nor any information to say if it is a repeat etc, you have to wait until you play a recording to find out! On the plus side, it records well, ànd play back is good. We feel that a little more basic information could be an asset and improvement to the user, but I would still recommend it's purchase, but don't expect too much.”
“This is my fourth Humax recorder. I chose this as 4programs can be recorded. Just one remote is a boon.. Still finding my way around!
Comments _
max volume at 20. A little more would be useful, but my hearing has always been good, as vol. measurements were much larger.
Fast fwd/back no response from play or pause. So I’m using stop and then back to resume play!
Some instructions are quite pale and do not stand out for easy reading
Hope this of help! I always recommend Humax to friends!

“Humax seem to have taken a step backwards our old model from about 6, or 7 yrs ago was easy to use and you could clearly see the text on the on screen guide. The new one is needlessly complicated, so many more key strokes to do what you want to do, and the text on the guide is so small, it's very difficult to read from the armchair.”
