“Unfortunately a step backwards from old HDR-2000T . Not as easy to use. Lack of information button is a big miss . Skip forward is difficult and not mentioned in manual. I was hoping this would be more user friendly than my old unit but sadly not so.”

I normally rate Humax products very highly and have been a user either by direct purchase or via You View / BT since 2013 and would recommend the Humax kit. However, until a box enabling Prime, Netflix and ITVx is available I will not be buying A Humax PVR”

“I was having really annoying problems with my previous rental TV box. A friend recommended a Humax recorder. Now have my own Humax for 12 days now. Easy to set up. No letdowns in recording programmes as yet. Only one slight annoyance is that it takes around 5 or more seconds to link to the tv each time it's switched on.”
“Generally good, but it has one annoying feature. When in the ‘Guide Mode,’ programmes are often listed as ‘No programme information,’ and so it is not possible to record programmes in advance. Today, for instance, I am unable to set up the recording on bbc 2 at 9pm tonight. I have tried several times so far today; very annoying.”
“Bought to replace an old Manhattan recorder. Wish I had bought a new version of the Manhattan, as my old one was quicker to navigate than this Humax. I can’t even tell when it’s powered off. It usually takes ages for the red button to function. Disappointed.”
